I was so very blessed to have this sweet, funny and loving man as my 2nd Dad when I married his son William Alan in 1979. I loved his laugh and the way he tried to act tough but you he was such a softie. LeIla was his best friend and he adored her. I’ve always been so proud and felt so special to have him as a dad. He was never “ just an in-law “. Too much love and admiration for that. I’m proud of his service to his country and being a Silver Star recipient for performing heroic deeds in Vietnam, saving countless civilian and U.S troops and their aircraft. I love you so much dad. I hope you kissed my sweet mom for me and your son and my children. Thank you for loving me always and for the laughter. I’ll be saving my nickels for a big game of 31 when I finally get there. ???? Love, Lori Zenahlik, widow of William Alan Zenahlik, Calvin and Leila’s son and mom of their four grandchildren, Nathan Alan 18 yrs, Justin Andrew 16 yrs, Briana Adriane 14yrs and Demrie Ashton 8 yrs. who left us way too early and now joined by their grandpa!
