Audre I. Johnson, 76, Rapid City died Thursday Oct. 16, 2008 at Fountain Springs Health Care. She was born June 3, 1932, the only daughter of Kenneth E and Margaret A. (Simpson) Krick. Audre grew up in Rapid City, attending school in the area and graduating in 1951. She married Joseph L. Johnson on July 6, 1952. Audre was a military housewife, stationed with Joe at England, France, Italy, Japan, as well as South Dakota, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Florida. They returned to Rapid City in 1970 when Joe retired form the US Air Force. During their travels, Audre and Joe became parents to five children. She is survived by 2 sons, Joseph Jr and wife Wendy Johnson and Mark Johnson, all of Auburn, WA; 2 daughters, Lisa Johnson and Angela and husband Ron Pease, all of Rapid City; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Darrel Krick and Donald and wife Marie Krick all of Rapid City. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Sr., Nov. 21, 1994; son Steven Johnson, May 5, 2001 and 1 brother Wayne Krick.
