Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Friday July 31, 2009 at the Peace Chapel of Ft Meade Medical Center with Father Bill Zandri celebrating. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Sturgis Honor Guard. Visitation will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 3009 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home.

Aloyous ‘Al’ Edward Freiberg, 77, Ft. Meade, died Monday July 27, 2009 at the Ft Meade VA Medical Center. He entered the US Air Force May 7, 1954 and was honorably discharged Nov. 30, 1957. Al is survived by his wife, Takako Freiberg; his daughter Joan Freiberg; both of Rapid City; two sons, Tony Freiberg, Rapid City; Joe Freiberg, Springfield, SD; 5 grandchildren and his sister Marythea Grebner. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
