A Gathering of family and friends will be 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery with full military honors.

Adolph Castillo Garcia, 87, Rapid City, died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born June 14, 1928 in San Antonio, TX to Jesus and Estella (Castillo) Garcia. Adolph joined the U.S. Air Force Feb. 26, 1952 serving in Korea and also Viet Nam. After 20 years of service he retired on May 31, 1972. He married Darlene DeSersa on March 7, 1966 in Rapid City. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had many friends that he will leave behind and he will be missed. Adolph is survived by one son, Ruben Garcia; three daughters, Stella (Julian) Brown Eyes; Theresa (Mervin) LaDeaux and Leonora Garcia; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren all of Rapid City. He is preceded in death by one son, Michael A. Garcia. The family invites everyone to a time of fellowship and refreshments at the Wyotan Lutheran Church, 522 Anamosa Street, following the interment.
